Curling Club

​The Lumby Curling Club is a very active spot throughout the winter months! You can curl nearly 7 days a week with leagues to suit every skill level and a lot of friendly faces to help you learn as you go along. Their facilities feature a four-rink sheet and an upstairs lounge. View their site here for more information! 

Ice Arena

​The Pat Duke Memorial Arena was built in 1967 as a Centennial project, and is a single standard size ice sheet with change rooms. The arena is the home of minor hockey, figure skating, men’s and women’s hockey, and public skating. If you're interested in minor hockey, view their page here. Swimming Pool

An outdoor public pool serving our wonderful community!  Whether you're looking for some exercise or a place to go with the kids, we are the pool for you! We offer daily public swims, as well as adult lane swims, Red Cross Swim Lessons (for children and adults), Aqua Fit and Aqua Zumba. Check out our website for a rundown of our hours and prices, and come join our lively aquatic community! Open May to September. 

Spray Park

The Whitevalley Spray Park is a popular family spot right next to the outdoor pool, sports fields and a playground. Hours of Operation:
May long-weekend to September long-weekend: 10:00 am to 7:00 pm
September - weekends only, from 11:00 am to 6:00 pm

Sports Field

Within Lumby there is a track and field oval that is perfect for a variety of activities like soccer or frisbee.  There is two tennis courts, basketball courts, baseball diamonds and a skateboarding park.

Community Parks

Within Lumby there are 4 parks.: Oval Park, Royal Ball Park, Cedar Ridge Park, Salmon Trails. Outside the village there is Whitevale Park, Tolley Park at Mable Lake and Hanson Park in Cherryville

Community Hall & Community Centres

The White Valley Community Centre  houses the regional library and a preschool, and features three flexible spaces for programming or rental. The Centre also has a full commercial kitchen. For bookings call 250-547-6404 or email [email protected]

The Mabel Lake Community Hall is maintained by the volunteers of the Mabel Lake Community Association, and is owned by the Regional District. Watch for special events, such as the 100 Mile Dinner or community dances. To rent this beautiful hall for your special event call Christine at 250-547-1449.

The Cherryville Community Hall is maintained by the volunteers of the Cherryville Community Club, and is owned by the Regional District. The hall is regularly used for activities such as Brownies, Jiu-Jitsue, circuit training, yoga, movie nights, monthly seniors dinners, and special events.
